55-Year-Old Woman Steals Ambulance Vehicle and Crashes into Several Vehicles on Thunderbird RoadPHOENIX, AZ (April 14, 2023) – Tuesday, Valerie Campbell was arrested after stealing an ambulance causing and a multi-vehicle accident.The incident happened on April 11th, at around 4:00 p.m., near the intersection of Cave Creek Road and Thunderbird Road.According to reports, paramedics first took 55-year-old Campbell to John C. Lincoln Hospital’s for a medical emergency. After arriving at the hospital, Campbell left through the front entrance, stole an ambulance and drove off. She got three miles away when she swerved into oncoming traffic and ended up crashing into a wall. 30-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Collision near Tenth StreetHANFORD, CA (April 14, 2023) – Friday, Chelsey Jacuinde was killed and Thomas Barker was arrested after a hit-and-run crash on 10th Avenue.The incident occurred near the intersection of 10th Avenue and 10th Street on April 7th.According to reports, 35-year-old Barker was driving a Dodge Charger and struck Jacuinde. A pedestrian severely injured in a March hit-and-run collision in downtown San Jose has died, according to authorities.The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner identified the man as 72-year-old San Jose resident Hung Viet Tran. He died Thursday from the injuries he suffered in the crash.Authorities said that the March 22 crash involved a silver 1999 Toyota sedan, later recovered as a stolen vehicle. Around 6:27 p.m., the Toyota ran a red light while traveling eastbound on East Santa Clara Street and crashed into Tran. PITTSBURG — A 37-year-old Antioch man survived a shooting alongside the Pittsburg-Antioch Highway on Wednesday night, police said.Police were called to the highway east of Loveridge Road, about 8:45 p.m., Pittsburg police Lt. Gabriel Palma said. Once there, they found the man with a single gunshot wound that entered in the lower back, he said.An ambulance took the man to John Muir Medical Center, where he was treated and released within a few hours, Palma said.Police have not made any arrests. Palma said the victim told officers he was driving and noticed two flat tires on a dumpster trailer, then decided to stop and help.According to Palma, the victim said he wound up in an altercation with a person who then fired the gun.
