Woman vanishes in Santa Cruz, musician boyfriend uncooperative, police say

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A Santa Cruz County woman has been missing for more than two weeks, and her boyfriend is refusing to cooperate with investigators, the El Cerrito Police Department said. Alice "Alyx" Kamakaokalani Herrmann, 61, of Capitola was last seen in Santa Cruz on December 3. The woman's relatives reported her missing to police on December 12 because they had not heard any communication from her.Investigators said they later found Herrmann's red 2007 Toyota Highlander SUV parked in front of her boyfriend's home in El Cerrito. Alice "Alyx" Kamakaokalani Herrmann lives in Capitola. Police identified the missing woman's boyfriend as 54-year-old Theobald "Theo" Brooks Lengyel. Lengyel, who also goes by the name "Mylo Stone," is an ex-musician who played saxophone in the rock band "Mr. Bungle," News Nation reported. (KRON) -- More than 18,000 PG&E customers in the South Bay lost power on Monday afternoon, according to PG&E's outage map. The large outage stretches as far north as San Jose State University, south to the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds and west to the Willow Glen neighborhood, per PG&E. The number of customers affected is 18,404. LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An NBA G League player and his girlfriend are accused of killing a woman who had been reported missing earlier this month, according to Las Vegas Metro Police. Chance Comanche, 27, and Sakari Harnden, 19, were both taken into custody in recent days in connection with the disappearance of Marayna Rodgers, 23. Rodgers, a medical assistant from Washington state, had been visiting Las Vegas with friends in early December, her family told KLAS. She hadn’t been seen since Dec. 6. Human remains found in a desert area of Henderson, just outside of Las Vegas, have been identified as Rodgers.
