FOX31 spoke with a tarantula expert for the top spots you might catch a glimpse of the tarantula "mate-gration." DENVER (KDVR) — The estimated monthly payment for a mid-priced Denver-area home is nearly twice as high as it was just three years ago.This week, the average long-term U.S. mortgage rate climbed to its highest level in more than 20 years, pressuring an already tight Denver area market that's dealing with low supply and sky-high prices. Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac said Thursday the average rate on the benchmark 30-year home loan rose to 7.09% from 6.96% last week. Rates haven't been that high since 2002. Several law enforcement agencies worked together to capture a suspected carjacker after they were led on a multi-county chase. The chase began Friday afternoon after officers spotted a stolen vehicle that matched the description near a home on the 1000 block of Northwest 24th Avenue.When the driver left the scene, police attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect took off. The subject then traveled westbound on Sunrise Boulevard, passing State Road 7. Fort Lauderdale Police continued following the vehicle, which headed northbound on the Florida Turnpike toward Palm Beach County. (WSVN) – A Central Florida woman has been arrested and charged with poisoning a man by allegedly lacing his drinks with Raid roach spray.Deputies from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Wheeler Street in DeLeon Springs around 4:30 a.m., Friday, following reports of a poisoning incident. There was a break in the case for a South Florida man who was drugged and robbed last year.City of Miami Police on Friday confirmed they tracked down and arrested 34-year old Danyelle Eans.Investigators said the suspect went home with a man she met at a bar in Coconut Grove, slipped something into his drink and stole $40,000 in watches and jewelry. The incident happened last May with officers using a still shot of the suspect in an elevator as their only clue. They were able to track her down, arrest her and trace her DNA to some glasses that were on the victim’s countertop.Police said this man wasn’t her only victim.“Fast forward to just a month ago, local bar, she’s there, meets a man, he says, ‘Let’s go to my apartment,’ takes her to his apartment, and the same MO,” Miami Police Officer Michael Vega said.
