WGN’s Pat Tomasulo hosted the "Laugh Your Face Off" fundraiser over the weekend.It was the ninth year that Pat and his wife Amy raised money to fight the rare and painful disorder Trigeminal Neuralgia, a nerve disorder doctors classify as one of the worst pains known to mankind. Amy was diagnosed with it 22 years ago. There is no cure.This year, Laugh Your Face Off raised $632,000 for The Facial Pain Research Foundation. One person is dead and one person is injured after a fire engulfed a home in San Bernardino on Monday morning. At 4:38 a.m., fire crews were dispatched to west Magnolia and North E Street after several callers reported a home with a roof on fire. Crews were also notified of possible victims that were trapped inside. Once on scene, firefighters quickly entered the single-story home to locate the victims and work on taking down the fire. Some personnel were also deployed to the roof to improve conditions inside the home. A fire engulfed a home in San Bernardino (San Bernardino County Fire)Rescue crews located two victims inside the home. After paramedics performed life-saving measures, one victim was transported to a nearby hospital. The second victim was found dead at the scene.The fire was knocked down within twenty minutes of firefighters’ arrival. It is unclear what caused the fire. (BCN) -- An employee of a San Francisco daycare center who pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing child pornography has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison, the U.S. Department of Justice said Monday. Jace Wong, 26, was taken into custody in April 2021 after an undercover officer allegedly linked him to a video during a chat of a girl between 4 and 6 years old with her pants down and vagina exposed. Officers were able to identify Wong and his location through his cell phone and arrest him. Officers also discovered the black and white tiled bathroom in which the child was standing in the childcare facility.
